SÉDA is proud to launch its long-term philanthropic partnership with Scarborough Health Network (SHN) Foundation, in support of geriatric healthcare.

An effort to bring geriatric care to the forefront of medicine, through additional research, funding and initiatives, the partnership will run until December 31, 2023, and will donate a portion of every SÉDA garment sale to the SHN Foundation in support of the geriatric ward.

"Aligning the SÉDA brand with the SHN Foundation, specifically targeting geriatric care, is a cause very close to my heart. As a practicing physician, focused on geriatric care, I see firsthand the vital need to increase care measures and awareness around geriatric departments, and saw this as a unique opportunity for SÉDA to merge two of the things I’m most passionate about: fashion and medicine."

The partnership marries the connection between honouring and paying homage to those who have influenced style choices decades ago, with the need to continue to pay it forward with the same love and care. It serves as an ongoing effort to recognize the importance of caring for an elder; enhancing the quality of life in a time of need.

Founded in March 2023 by Seda Rafilovich (who doubles as the head of geriatric care, a practicing physician), SÉDA offers a wide variety of chic and timeless outerwear for all seasons. Each garment is ethically made in Canada in small-batch production, using only the finest Italian materials.
